Book of the Month: The Wonderful World of Albert Kahn- Colour Photographs from a Lost Age.

This book was given to me by a good friend of mine Duma. The book takes me on this wonderful and amazing but also heart wrenching journey through imagery across the world, detailing the history of many cultures at their early age starting from like 1845 to like 1930...

The book is really inspirational and really thought evoking...kinda made me not only love my own culture and its history even more but appreciate even more so how our world is fantastically made up of amazing beautiful people and cultures that went through a lot of shit and hardship throughout time. Our world is a crazy place. It can be beautiful and breathtaking, but it also is destructive, lonely and dark.
I recommended this book not only to photographers, but to everyone, adults, kids, happy folks, sad folks, cats, dogs, birds, bees flowers and trees! seriously Its like a very good history lesson rolled into a pretty swell book! -J.Erika
