Book of the Month: BLACK BRITAN: A photographic History

Its been a while since I've bought a really good book, but i managed to get my hands on this beauty: Black Britain: A Photographic History by Paul Gilroy
It a wonderful account of the rise of Black culture, Music, history, politics, arts and sport dating from 1890 up to today. The book is sad when looking at the photos involving segregation and race riots, however the book shines a light to how far we we as Black people have come. A good read & a MUST read.- J.Erika
