Music Artist Spotlight: Sharon Jones & The Dap Kings

I went to see Sharon Jones & the Dap Kings @ Camden's Koko...it was like I was in a 1970s Soul Train concert with a get down of James Brown grooves, mad mad ridiculesly brilliant vocals from Miss Jones...crazy beautiful sounds from the Dap Kings...man I felt like I was in Chi city 1965 having a Meltown of soul, funk and rhythm and Blues...Seriously apart from family gaverings at my house, I've never seen people dance and move like how they did at a concert before. wow. bringing back the old school.
