Sundance London 2012: 'LUV'

Each year over 6,000 films are submitted to the Sundance Film Festival. Of those, just 120 are picked to play at the festival in Park City.

The first ever Sundance London came to the O2 in Greenwich. Over four days, the event presented the British premieres of 14 new American documentaries and dramas freshly picked from the original Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah, alongside gigs by the likes of Tricky and Placebo.

Last month, I went to see a brilliant independent film starring Common, Michael Rainey Jr., Dennis Haysbert, Danny Glover and Charles S. Dutton  telling a story of an orphaned 11-year-old boy who during one tough day on the Baltimore streets comes to discover unpleasant truths about the uncle he loves.

Below is a clip from the Movie. First class night. Beautiful end to a Sunday eve.
